DESCRIPTION

Setting

This newer twin house is set back some 15-20 feet from the sidewalk in contrast to other houses on the street. Its front yard is heavily landscaped with various plantings and a Belgium block lined drive is located along the east side of the lot.

Description

This is a 2.5-story,twin house with unconventional brick fa├žade and vinyl clad sides. Its main entrances are located in the center of the unit under a partially inset shed roofed porch.

History

The current house was constructed c. 2006, replacing an earlier house. Lytle Street was laid out c. 1880. The historic atlas of 1890 shows the earlier house on this parcel. This earlier house appears on all historic maps and aerials up to the year 2002. It was demolished for the current house, which first appears on the aerial of 2006.
