The property is located on the north side of Birch Avenue east of the
intersection with Race Street. Birch Avenue is a residential street with a
tree-lined sidewalk on each side. The property has a small front lawn off the
sidewalk and a paved drive along the east boundary of the parcel. The house
on the property has a greater setback than other houses on the block.
This house is a two-story, two-bay, front-gable, Neo-Colonial Revival
building clad in vinyl siding. It features a three-sided bay window on its
south (front) elevation, west of its front door, and a shed-roofed portico.
The house was constructed c. 2000. Historic maps and Sanborn Atlases show a
vacant parcel in this location as late as 1997. The house first appears on
the historic aerial of 2002 and appears on subsequent aerials.
